This plot didn’t need a love story,and certainly not an
interfaith one at that.But a storyteller has a creative license ,and I don’t
mind that they exercised it.Yet this soggy story ended up hurting the film is a
different matter.
The tragedy scenes are devastating.But the romance never
becomes pucca.Sara does try,and she does a damn good job of it.But Sushant
Singh Rajput has been turned into a caricature of an idealist Muslim ,and hence
wasted .Such a waste !
I liked the film,but felt it could have been written
better.Sushant is a powerhouse,and it is a sin to waste him like that.
