The story is quite simple, but its treatment is just out of this world. A simple revenge drama told in such a mind-blowing fashion. Hats off, this is astounding story-telling! The narrative is non-linear, and yet gives the semblance of continuity. Anurag Kashyap plays unalloyed evil with perfection. The less said for Vijay Sethupathi the better. He is the greatest Tamil actor of this generation. How convincingly he essays the role of a wronged dad! In the first half, when the whole plot is under wraps and Vijay creates ruckus in the police station by reporting the theft of a dustbin is just masterclass.
