Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick is a combustible duo.The latter ends up becoming a pawn in the former’s insurance racket.Anna is a single mom and a food vlogger,a minor local celeb,but Blake is a high flying fashion executive ,married to a one-book wonder of an author husband.

Anna turns tables on Blake by moving into her home and hooking up with her husband after Blake disappears .Darcy Bell’s novel is full of minor twists,some of them quite predictable,but plot races at a fast pace all along.

Anna Kendrick is a joy to behold as she moves from being a sincere  single mom to warming the bed of her dead friend,someone who is desperate to increase her vlog membership to one who is excited to inherit her friends’expensive wardrobe.Anna does this with so much conviction ,she is a joy to behold.Blake Lively on the other hand is too hot to handle.

The film is a very watchable one.Its not Gone Girl or Girl In The Train,but its not a chicklit either.Its the smooth direction and superb acting which lift the film to heights.
