Once you are in jail, it is not in your hands to come out of it. Law, and nature, have inherent systems designed to keep you inside bars. Basically freedom is a luxury, a boon provided by life to some, not all humans. It is just that we do not realize the value of freedom until we lose it.
Manu comes out of jail and sets about seeking revenge and mending the life of his ex who has since remarried and has a child. She is stuck in an unhappy marriage, but that's life. What Manu does would be dubbed as stalking, but he manipulates her life in ways he thinks was beneficial to her. He also falls for a prostitute and sets about making her dreams come true.
SSE is that kind of a film where the lead character gives and gives, right from the word go, but the fount never dries up. Rakshit Shetty does justice to this role. Rukmini Vasanth is damn good as the ex, Chaithra J. Achar is wonderful as the current flame. Side A and B have a total runtime of almost 5 hours, but it does not hurt. That is a huge achievement.
