Nawazuddin plays a cop who investigates a crime in the valleys of Uttarakhand. The film is shot at beautiful locales, and boasts of clinical performances from Nawaz, and Rajesh Kumar who plays his sidekick. The film is a slow-burn with a rewarding climax, but overstays its welcome by dragging on and on once the mystery is solved. This is the problem with modern wokes. They aim to preach more than the protocol allows for. I had not signed up for needless sermons. The film is good till it lasts, but you can fast forward the jnana part and be done with it.
