A Perfect Spy - A John Le Carre Series for the Ages

Axel is a Czech agent. He memorably addresses Magnus Pym, the spy in question, as Sir Magnus. His voice leaves its mark in the series. Magnus was Titch in his childhood to his dad's pals, Old Son to his dad, the master con, Rick Pym. Ray McAnally has brilliantly played the father.

There is a lot of emotional interplay that goes on in the series, more than spy games. It is difficult to forget Rick Pym and Axel, and more so 'Old Son' and 'Sir Magnus'.

I would add that this is a very good adaptation of John Le Carre's novel.
