Everyone of us should be prepared for that moment when something requires to be done because one cant expect immediate help. If terrorists strike, one might not get enough time to act. This film is based on one such real story when three childhood pals from the US overcome a terrorist in a train.
Clint opted to cast the real heroes instead of actors, and that perhaps lends credence to the narrative. The buildup is slow. The director takes his time in taking a look at their shared childhood, and then Europe trip. The final scene is terrifically shot but has been shown in phases which could have been avoided.
