Kangana Ranaut
as a Kabaddi-player is convincing, but the plot is too claustrophobic to enjoy.
She is a working mother, past her prime, away from Kabaddi for 7 years and
happily married. Now she plans a comeback, only because that would make her son
happy. It would be better if Bollywood doesn’t treat sports so casually.
Richa
Chaddha tries hard to come across as her buddy, but overdoes her macho act.
Jassi Gill, as Kangana’s husband, is a tad too sweet to be taken seriously. It
is only Nina Gupta who does justice to her role of the player’s mother.
The film
gets too long, predictable and hence boring to be called a success.
