Jai Mummy Di (2020)

Sunny Singh has a perfectly expressionless face
which suits the characters he plays. That said, innocence and earnestness drip from his eyes and makes him
tolerable. He has teamed up again with Sonnalli Seygall to deliver a rather
humdrum film.
It need not have been so. The film begins on a promisingly
crazy note. But there is no punch, not even any reason to justify contrived
comedy. Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon are total bores as mothers of the
hero and heroine. The fathers, Rajendra Sethi and Danish Hussein, do provide
some moments.
All in all, this is a bad film , but it did have
some chances, which was faltered.
