Purab Kohli is a slave to his instincts. He just
cannot help chasing women. He does love his college sweetheart wife and their
son, but thinks nothing of having an affair with a girl half his age. That the
girl gets pregnant and is the daughter of the primary investor in his project
complicates the whole equation.
The wife, Rasika Duggal, is a doctor. Initially
she comes across as a gullible, naïve,helpless woman, but pushed against the
wall, she develops wings and strikes back to wrest control.
This is a classic Indian Marriage-gone-wrong
story. Events unfold at a very relaxed and controlled pace. Based on Doctor Foster,
this series really comes alive thanks to brilliant acting performances by
Purab, Rasika Duggal and Harsh Chhaya. The series deserves a watch for its no
nonsense treatment of the matters at hand.
