Vinci Da - Great Acting but Predictable Script

VINCI DA (2019)
by
Srijit Mukerjee

Ritwick Chakraborty looks every bit of a disturbed character. Rudranil Ghosh comes across as a natural-born artist. The duo combine to give a  watchable  thriller of a film.
Rudranil is a make-up artist, but finds it difficult to get work owing to his pride. Ritwick wanted to be a criminal lawyer, but spent time in jail for having killed his own father. This serial killer wants to play vigilante and become a ‘serial lawyer’. The latter forces the former to help him in his endeavours. Sohini Sarkar plays rudranil’s love interest.
While acting is first rate, the story plods along on familiar clumsy lines. Srijit is a modern master, but the  script could have done with some twist.
