Demi Moore, a single mother, a wannabe sculptor, is about to play a juror in the trial of a dreaded gangster. A very young Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays her son. Alec Baldwin, in his earlier thinner avatar, keeps an eye on her, and manipulates her into helping the gangster. James Gandolfini plays a small-time errand boy but leaves his mark. He always left his mark, JG, God bless his soul!
The film's plot fails to convince, and performances from Demi and Alec seem phony. Demi Moore looks lovely though; there is no denying that!
