After the 2014 floods, Shamim Meraz, a local newspaper editor, and Sandeep Chattoo, a businessman, came together and started a football club in a bid to mobilize the Kashmiri youth by providing them with hope and respect. Real Kashmir FC was born. The web-series is thus based upon real story. Like RKFC had hired a foreign coach, an American coach gets hired in the web-series too. RKFC keeps focus on the lives of players, the coaches, the manager, the promoter and the investor. If you are able to hire a couple of good actors like Manav Kaul and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub while making a sports film and are able to keep the story humble and grounded, you are likely to strike oil. Watch the series to feel good. Its worth it.
