Another film on child-trafficking.
Yawn-yawn.
Taapsee Pannu is not my idea of either a heroine or an action star, but I did like her performances in Baby and Naam Shabana. She does not quite fit into the role of a mother looking for her kidnapped daughter in the streets of a village. With due respects to Pannu, I'm bored of the genre. There is nothing new on offer. Ishwak Singh plays her husband but comes across as too subdued. Prashant Narayanan is menacing but arrives too late on the screen to help matters. I found the film to be quite a drag. The whole show of tribal dances and processions seem a tad too impressionistic.
