Sunny Deol as the defense lawyer, Akshaye Khanna as the accused in a rape-cum-murder case. It can't get saucier, but the director spoils it by casting Tilottama Shome as the Public Prosecutor. She might impress some for DEI sake, but has presence on the screen, and certainly cannot take on veterans. The film tries to dramatize the whole scene but fails spectacularly. Even the climax, supposed to hold some suspense, is so delayed that the whole set-up dawns upon us. Even AK walked around and stared in Dhurandhar mode. The hangover has lasted for quite too long. Dia Mirza has the same plastic presence as ever.
