Dune Part Two like Dune Part One is a visual treat. The desert grows on you. The gadgets keep you hooked. The costumes enthrall. Performances are superb, as is the casting. One is just transported to Arrakis and starts living among Fremens. Frank Herbert's novel might be a lot more complicated, but both the Chalamet films run on his understated charisma. Timothee Chalamet, you fucking beauty! Christopher Walken and Lea Seydoux make grand entry as Emperor, the father, and her daughter. Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin and Rebecca Ferguson reprise their roles. One can write a lot more about the spices, Year 10191 and analogies, but that would just stretch the point.
