Three years before Dhurandhar took the country by storm, Mukhbir had appeared on Z5 and sank without a trace. Based upon ex-JD, IB Maloy Krishna Dhar's novel, this is a very professionally made webseries with a good star-cast and meaningful writing.
A petty thief is spotted by intel officer Prakash Raj, trained in spy craft, provided a new identity and sent to Pakistan to gather ground information. Zain Khan Durrani has played this Kashmiri boy who crosses over and comes back in mid-60s. Gen. Ayub Khan and Yahya Khan are portrayed in the series. Harsh Chhaya, Barkha Bisht, Satyadeep Mishra, Zoya Afroz and Adil Hussain also play key roles. Yahya's mistress, General Rani is played by Barkha Bisht. Mukhbir is an engaging series, with some really good performances.
