Danis Tanovic is the man who wrote and directed No Man's Land.
In Tigers, he documents a Pakistani baby-milk formula salesman-cum-whistleblower's revelation about a multinational company's corrupt tricks to capture the baby-milk formula market. Since baby food serves as substitute of breast milk in malnourished areas, it results in malnutrition if not administered in proper amount, and diarrhea if mixed with unclean water. The salesman recounts how he gave away gifts and made cash payments to medical professionals including doctors and nurses on behalf of the company to win over the market. The company in question is Nestle but is named Lasta in the film. Emraan Hashmi gave a wonderfully restrained performance, whereas Geetanjali Thapa has played the part of his wife. Adil Hussain plays a villainous cameo.
