To classify this film as a legal comedy would be a joke upon the judiciary. Hence, I would refrain from doing that. But yes, this is a loud, non-serious, stupid, slapstick comedy film, that does tackle the relevant issue of land acquisition within a legal framework. The film, especially its star, Akshay Kumar, takes too many liberties with the court decorum. I wonder who does his toilet humour titillate?
Anyway, the stars of this instalment are Saurabh Shukla, whose love story gets lost midway, and Gajraj Rao, who plays a Gujju businessman who does not like to lose. Ram Kapoor, in his thinner, handsome avatar, looks very fresh. Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao have nothing to do. Arshad Warsi underplays but does his bit. Akshay Kumar is guilty of overdoing as always. Ramkumar's poem strikes chords, but the film refrains from giving a clearcut answer on the vexed issue of land acquisition.
