Nicolas Cage is the Ghost Rider, a motorcycle stuntman who trades his soul with the devil Mephistopheles, and as a result is forced to hunt for the lost contract of San Venganza. He loses his father, fear, sweetheart and peace of mind, and becomes a desperado. He walks around with his life on his palms for he knows that devil protects him.
Devil's estranged son, Blackheart, comes calling with the three Hidden, and runs into conflict with the Ghost Rider, who has her own lost love, Eva Mendes, to retrieve. Cage is in fine form; Mendes is always a candy. The film works but somehow was penned. Agreed it is a total fuckfest with burning bikes and skeletons, but I for one found the effects impressive. It is not as bad a film as Cage was derided for it.
