A black cat eking out a bored existence finds itself in the Great Flood. It hops onto a boat and survives by collaborating with a capybara, a secretary bird, a ring-tailed lemur, a labrador, a whale and others. This is an animation project without dialogues, accompanied by beautiful music and astounding cinematography.
Flow has won the Best Animated film Oscar in 2025. This Latvian-Belgian-French collab was also nominated for Best Foreign Film Oscar by Latvia, where it reached the last 5 stage. This post-apocalyptic tale of survival is a film that shall live with its viewers for ages.
