Sing Sing is watchable because Colman Domingo is in the lead role. He brings a different kind of sensitivity into the narrative. Apart from him, the film is not more than a documentary featuring various inmates at Rehab Through Arts Program Sing Sing Correctional Facility, NY. Even the play they perform is not properly featured.
Can Domingo win the Best Actor Oscar for his performance? I have my doubts, considering that A. Brody and Ralph Fiennes have much better chances.
