Kareena Kapoor is a reliable performer. Rarely does she miss the pulse of a role. The Buckingham Murders is anyway a safe playground for her. Anyone can play a grieving parent who is kept busy by call of duty. References to Leicester and Muslim-Sikh violence are needlessly thrown in. The story focusses on the police procedural, and hence remains gripping. The director has safely kept away needless sentimentality or peek into private lives of cops. As for Kareena, she looks the part and delivers with aplomb. Ranveer Brar is outstanding as the father of a dead child. Hansal Mehta has maintained the intensity throughout.
