THE CABIN IN THE WOODS (2012)

Five college friends- two girls and three boys- are off to spend their weekend in a cabin in the woods. Debauchery and drunkenness are on the menu. Gradually they stumble upon strange objects and diary kept inside the cabin, which is being remotely controlled by some technicians, for god knows what reason.
Amid zombies, monsters and what not, rituals to save humanity are discussed. The film is not quite horror, but slasher one, and did not scare me one bit. To dub it as a sci fi horror would be ridiculous. I did not mind the film, but the film also did not have anything to write home about.
