Eknath Shinde and Anand Dighe are brought to life by Kshitij Date and Prasad Oak respectively in this sequel to the wonderful Dharmaveer-1. In this film, reasons are proffered as to why did Eknath and other MLAs felt the need to breakaway from Uddhav Thackeray and rescue Shiv Sena from their clutches. The narrative is given to some exaggeration and chest-thumping, but has that not always been the style of Shiv Sainiks? DV-1 was a great film extolling a legend. DV-2 is not a drag either. It can be watched if you are favourably inclined towards Sena, Shinde and Hindutva.
