Bhaiyyaji is not a bad film for an angry man like Bajpayee to be working in. But after 30 years, this did not deserve to be his 100th film. A retired strongman, whose name is the fear tender in his area of influence, is forced to come out of retirement and rain hell upon his enemies. No one does the sad and the angry better than Manoj, but somersaults in air and anti-gravity action seem quite dated. The man has after all already played two meanest villains on screen- Sardar Khan and Bhikhu Mahatre; as such it is difficult to take Bhaiyyaji seriously.
Fans won't be disappointed. The film is a commercial venture, out and out, but good actors like Zoya Hussain and Vipin Sharma also manage to get their presence registered.
