Vipul Goyal plays himself in this well-captured saga of a stand-up comedian. Rasika Duggal, as his wife, and Abhishek Banerjee, as his buddy, have played able foils. The series works because it focusses on how a comedian struggles to develop content and how he is able to transform bits and pieces into meaningful jokes with punch. Other comedians enter the show and make swift exit, turning the whole scenario realistic. Vipul is more of an actor than he is a comedian, but that is fine. He makes it up with his sincerity. And Rasika, what to say about her! I have never seen are out of phase or off-rhythm in any performance. Watch this to know how comedy works.....
