Dilip Kumar lives with his mother and makes beautiful toys. He is addicted to drinking, and despite his sensitive nature, just cannot resist a tipple. He is in love with the sister of a neighbour who suddenly inherits big money. The storyline is quite simple- the hero has to kick the habit, the heroine has to marry her man. She even tries to play the part of a drunkard in order for him to see light, but the hero gets hurt and beats her black and blue in disgust. For a 71 YO film, this is quite a drag, but watched it only for Dilip Kumar.
