Larry David is the creator of this series, and also stars in it, playing a semi-fictionalized version of himself. His character is borderline socially inept, and caught up in his own mind mazes. He has trouble adhering to established social etiquette, and finds formalities completely unnecessary. Along with the recurring cast, that is the Larry David Universe in today's lingo, he manages to engage the viewers. This is a biting satire on the high-class LA life.
Needless to remind that it is much feted across the circles.
