Brian Cox plays Logan Roy who is the Papa Bear who just wont give up control. Kendall Roy is well-meaning, hard-working and ambitious, but perhaps the shoes are too big to fill. Roman Roy is an irreverent prick who has a compulsive need to sound witty. Shiv is a bitch who actually loves Tom and is the strongest of the lot. Tom is a careerist marrying into high family. Connor Roy, the eldest is a certified nut. Marcia, the Lebanese wife of Logan, is strong as a ramrod. Succession works because its characters are engaging and real. It keeps you interested.
