The MI6 recruited a small-time businessman, Greville Wynne, to establish contact with Col.Oleg Penkovksy. Oleg provides valuable information and material on Soviet Union's missile plans vis-a-vis Cuba, and helps during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
This story has been beautifully told in The Courier. Cumberbatch never goes over the top, or out of control,and that is his speciality.The film runs like a sombre drama, but never falls into dull or dreary mode. It takes you to the early 60s, and times come alive.
A Good watch....Go for it.
