PICASSO 2019

Dashavataram is one of the oldest folk theatre in the world. It originated around 12 th cent AD from southern Konkan. Picasso is the story of a son who requires 1500 Rs to appear in a Painting Competition, but his father, an artist is unable to pay for it.
This changes during the course of the night as the father's performance in the play is widely applauded, and he ekes out enough to take care of his wife's sonography and son's fees. The Dashavataram play, performed in the Temple, is beautifully captured in the film, and represents its highlight.
