The film is about an ambitious painter who goes blind, but there is not much actual painting in the film. An impressionable girl falls for a charismatic artist, leaves her family, drops out of college and begins to live in with him. The girl is Hindu Brahmin, and the guy is a Christian.
Fahadh Faasil plays the artist with aplomb. Ann Augustine is good fit as his love interest. The film is based on Paritosh Uttam's Dreams in Prussian Blue. Artist has a weak script, but the lead pair makes it worthwhile to watch.
