Andrea Jeremiah has never looked prettier. Fahadh faasil has never looked more intense. Love has never seemed more wistful. This is the story of Rasool, a taxi-driver, who falls head-over-heels for Anna,a Latin Christian girl, who works as a salesgirl in a sari store.
The violence in the film that surrounds its characters is real. The love that binds the leading duo seems surreal. Thats the beauty of the film, along with its cinematography and songs. Religion is always around but never becomes the clinching issue. "If Purushottam can become Peter, why not Rasool?" is a harmless question, but loaded with intent. Yet the film is not about communal trouble, but social impediments in the path of love.
