Cops come in all shapes, sizes and flavours. Media's portrayal of them is usually monochromatic. Delhi Crime tries to play an honest adjudicator in that regard. This winner of International Emmy Award must be the best cop drama ever made in the Indian surroundings.
The crime was most heinous, but the police response to it was most extraordinary. The Delhi Police, led by their DCP, nabbed all the six suspects within a week of the perpetration of crime.
Shefali Shah and Adil Hussain are a joy to watch. Rajesh Tailang is a master of his craft. Rasika Duggal plays every role with aplomb. The ensemble cast does its work with perfection. Dialogues and direction are first rate.
Delhi Crime deserves all the plaudits coming its way, and more. A big cheer to Richie Mehta for making this series.
