Jisshu Sengupta gets stabbed in the first episode and dies soon after. But he looms large over the series. He was a successful lawyer but is later revealed to be an abuser.
Kirti Kulhari is spot-on as a victim, an abused wife and a murder accused.
Pankaj Tripathy is Mr. Perfect, Anupriya Goenka plays an able foil. Deepti Naval, Meeta Vashishth and Ashish Vidyarthi have also done good jobs. Pankaj's screen wife has a very catchy role.
The film does raise some uncomfortable questions but resolves them in the woke manner. There is a lot that takes a usual and predictable line, but that is a debate for another day.
