Anomalisa is a stop-motion animation film on an author facing an existential crisis.
The author checks into a hotel , where he calls his ex, has a fallout with her and then gets attracted to a young girl with self-esteem issues. The animation work is simply quite brilliant, and even the sex scene seems quite explicit and realistic.
For its storyline alone, Anomalisa is a very watchable film.
