Soubin Shaheer is a small-time local football club owner in the town of Malappuram. His team participates in Sevens' Football tournaments, but win or lose, mostly runs losses.
One of their foreign recruits fractures his leg, and has to be taken into Soubin's own home to save funds.During his house stay, the footballer and Soubin become friends.
The footballer's passport gets misplaced and it is then that he reveals his Sudanian nationality and his fake Nigerian papers. This creates difficulty in his return to take care of his sisters.
This is a beautiful emotional drama, not a soccer film. Both theSudani and Soubin have given marvellous perforamces.
Watch it for emotional bonding, but there is not much football to savour.
