GREYHOUND 2020

Tom Hanks plays Commander Ernest Krause, the commanding officer of USS Keeling, aka Greyhound. He is leading a convoy of 37 merchant ships to Liverpool. As they enter the Black Pit, which is beyond air cover, they encounter a pack of German U-Boats who are hell bent on destroying the convoy.
Greyhound is a short film, with a runtime of just 90 minutes. This makes the film an edge of the seat thriller. There are no in-depth characters, save Krause, and everything is focused on locating and destroying U-boats.
Some beautiful cinematography and a reliable Hanks turn Greyhound into a treat. It is a mustwatch film of the year.
