Ghoomketu - Good Ensemble Cast Makes the Film Tolerable

The shooting of this film got completed in 2014. For some reasons it could not be released for six long years. Nawazuddin Siddique just about carries his role as a wannabe script-writer who runs off to Mumbai to try his luck, but its the ensemble cast of the film that save the day.
Raghubeer Yadav as Nawaz's father is always a treat to watch, as is Brijender Kala who performs well whenever he gets chances. But it is Ila Arun, in the role of Buaji, who really packs the punch. She is usually prone to overdoing her part, but justfies her role in Ghoomketu. Anurag Kashyap as a cop is passable, infact even irritating.
The film meanders from one dialogue to another and remains afloat only because no actor disappoints, and keeps the viewer engaged.
The film definitely puts a question mark on Nawazuddin's comic timing but one must not forget his tremendous growth as an actor over the past 5-6 years before passing any judgement.
Ghoomketu is a watchable film, but not something you would remember for long.
