A writer lives in flat number 302. She is an anorexic, and a loner. She uses an empty 301 as he own living space. When another woman moves into 301, the writer does not feel very comfortable. The woman in 301 is a full of lust- both for food and sex. She is an enthusiastic chef and cooks lots of food for her neighbour. This makes the occupant of 302 uneasy.

Their interactions take this psychological thriller forward which ends up in a tragedy. In a typical South Korean manner, the story derives its edge from the exaggerated traits or habits of the dramatis personae. These traits have their genesis in their their past, which has a vice-like grip over their present.

301,302 is a very engaging film. Watching it gives one an idea where Parasite is coming from.
