Darren Brown- The Great Art Robbery

This very British documentary focuses on an art theft committed by a group of pensioners in the heart of London. Mentored by the master illusionist Darren Brown, the group manage to commit the crime despite Darren having warned the gallery owner of his intent, time and the supposed protagonist. Darren is a delightful narrator and the story plods along mostly predictable lines. This is good stuff, but could have been folded under 60 minutes rather than their runtime of 74.

As with all things BBC, The Great Art Robbery has style going for it.
