Her name is Fran Lebowitz.
She shoots with gusto her words laced with irony. It creates
some kind of a mesmerising effect on the audience. She is known for her
sardonic social commentary on the American life and is heavily influenced by
Dorothy Parker. Why did Martin Scorsese make this documentary ,I do not know. But
it is an immensely informative and pleasurable watch ,one which leaves the viewer
enriched .Her views on smoking and gay acceptance in the American society are
very refreshing . The lady also talks about how gender is the real issue and
not race, because the gender divide is real whereas the race divide is just
based on assumptions and not facts.
A must watch documentary ? As a Marty fan,why would you miss
it ?
