it seems rather odd that a film titled Chef focuses only on
the father-son rebonding and hardly at all on food.There are passing mentions
to chhole bhature,tomato chutney,idiyappam etc but food never gets the proper
attention it deserved.The director had a good,committed cast at his
disposal.Saif,PAdampriya and Milind soman cud have delivered a more alive
film.This one unfortunately is based on a very dull script,and never seems to
head anywhere.Who wud have wanted to eat this Chef’s offerings ?
