Bobby can be a mean motherfcuker while doing comedy. That is a rare talent, and that is what places him above Al Pacino (who is not as good at comedy), and Jack Nicholson (who gets very dark when he goes funny). Here, he plays an ex-CIA operative who welcomes his daughters and their chosen boyfriends at his country home, and boy, he does put them, especially Ben Stiller, to test. Ben keeps trying hard throughout yet keeps coming short against the expectations. Gaylord Focker, what a name did they coin, man! That one has survived the years. Watch this one for Robert De Niro, or for Ben Stiller. Owen Wilson has a nice cameo too.
