PYAAR TUNE KYA KIA 2001
by
Rajat Mukherjee
This is a remake of Fatal Attraction. But it has been done in a very stylish manner. Rajat is a find of Ram Gopal Varma. Urmila looks too cool, and then dangerous as a woman with psychiatric issues. Fardeen Khan is a total lightweight. A random fashion photographer without a care for consent and with loads of naivety- that's the role that suits him. Sonali Kulkarni has a cameo. Suresh Oberoi plays Urmila's father with his usual grace. This is a small, breezy, fresh film, with some good music, and damn good performance by Urmila Matondkar.
