Arnab, a breaking news journalist, provokes Dawood Ibrahim by his shit-reporting into granting him an interview. He is forced to resort to this desperate measure to bolster his falling TRPs. A nonsensical interview follows. I began watching the film with zero expectations. That I watched the whole film is a testament to my tolerance for trash. Sunil Grover gives his earnest best to the role. Zakir Hussain delivers as D. Pankaj Tripathi is frankly embarrassing in his role as D's sidekick who goes by the name of Girdhari Secular. The script is poorly written. The writer had absolutely no idea how to handle the Arnab-D interview. He takes zing out of the whole show. Anjana Sukhani is pathetic, Dipannita Sharma manages to impress with some oomph. Rajesh Sharma is underused as always. This is a very bad tolerable film because Sunil, Rajesh and Zakir believe in their work. With a tad better writing, this could have been a much more engaging film.
