KOHRRA S02 (2026)
The show is created by Sudip Sharma, Diggi Sisodia and Gunjit Chopra, and by God, they have created a good enough Punjab for the viewers. Mona Singh has teamed up with Barun Sobti to investigate the murder of an NRI woman. Suvinder Vicky had been outstanding in S01, and one did miss him, but Mona Singh has filled up his shoes admirably. Sobti brings rare honesty to his role. Their back-stories are really powerful. The series enters the world of music videos and forced labour, but largely leaves untouched proselytizing activities, drugs and mafia violence. The series is a slow burn but does not bore. Kohrra S02 might have not bettered S01 but has not disappointed either. Ranvijay 'Rodies' Singh has an important role too. Jaideep Ahlawat makes a surprising cameo.
