Nawazuddin Siddique as Jatil Yadav is a good idea. Ila Arun playing his pesky mother is a better one. Radhika Apte, the darling of Netflix, helps to develop his character. But this film manages a casting coup with Deepti Naval (completely wasted), Revathy (shines as always) and Akhilendra Mishra (eternal mean man). Chitrangada Singh does her bit in her flowing robes. Rajat Kapoor in his khakhi looks every inch a cop. Murders are fine, the mystery around them is well investigated. The film at least takes you through the procedural- forensics and timelines. The climax does not surprise, rather disappoints. In a way, it also reflects hidden desires of the scriptwriter- goading the domestic help to kill his employers!
