A convict falls for a cop. When he gets out of the box, they get married. They live happily until it is revealed that she cannot conceive. A newspaper report about a man with five boys piques their interest and they decide to steal one and raise him as their own. Except that this does not prove to that easy or remain hush-hush. John Goodman has a crazy cameo. Randall 'Tex' Cobb shines in his ten minutes too. Raising Arizona is a manneristic, zany film which is fun to watch. Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter have done well as the leads.
